Play like a girl: gendered public spaces in London

Who are public spaces for, who aren’t they for, and how can we make them better. A talk on co-designing outdoor spaces for children and young adults in and around London.

Mark Lemanski is an urban designer and educator focusing on participatory strategies. As associate at muf architecture/art, he was responsible for urban design and strategy projects at a range of scales. He has combined practice with speculative research and teaching, including for the last five years running an MA studio at the University of East London. He is currently focussing on the participatory research initiative School of Streets.
